Report: Bret Bielema interviewing for Colorado head coach job
Bret Bielema continues to get looks at the college level to potentially return to head coaching.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Bielema, who recently took a position as a defensive assistant with the New York Giants, is interviewing for the Colorado Buffaloes’ head coaching position.
#Giants OLBs coach and senior defensive assistant Bret Bielema is interviewing for the head coaching job at the University of Colorado, sources say. The former Wisconsin and Arkansas coach could be back in college.

Bielema would replace Mel Tucker, who left Colorado to take the Michigan State job. Bielema had been very interested in that job as well, but the Spartans never seemed to seriously consider him.
Bielema has a 97-58 record at the college level. He won three Big Ten titles with Wisconsin, but was a failure at Arkansas.
Colorado’s rumored top choice for the role seems to be in limbo right now. Bielema may be something of a fallback plan as a result.
