Charlie Strong admitted that even he was shocked by Texas’ loss to Kansas on Saturday.
The Longhorns lost to Kansas 24-21 in overtime to give the Jayhawks their first conference win since 2014 and first victory over Texas since 1938.
Making the loss even more painful for Texas was they were up 21-10 in the fourth quarter, which amounted to a shocking defeat.

Strong: Being up 21-10 in the fourth quarter makes this loss tough.

Strong on if he's shocked by the loss: "I am. It was there for us."

The loss drops Texas to 5-6 on the season and 3-5 in conference play. They will wrap up the season on Friday against TCU. It’s quite possible that Strong will not be the team’s head coach at that point.
