Donald Trump will reportedly attend College Football Playoff championship
President Donald Trump is going to another college football game.
According to Elizabeth Crisp of The Advocate, President Trump is expected to attend Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship between LSU and Clemson. While his attendance is not confirmed, preparations are underway to make it happen.
This will be Trump’s second time attending a College Football Playoff title game. He was also present in Atlanta when Alabama beat Georgia in 2018. He also attended the World Series in Washington last year, where he got a particularly chilly reception.
Trump is becoming something of a regular at college football games. He’s already seen LSU in person once this year, and apparently called to congratulate coach Ed Orgeron on making it to the title game. Perhaps we know who he’ll be rooting for.
