Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy got himself not one, but two life-changing rings in January.
McCarthy got one ring for leading the Wolverines to a win in the National Championship Game. He got another ring this past week after proposing to his longtime girlfriend Katya Kuropas.
The couple on Friday shared photos of their engagement with the world. The pair posed by the shoreline with their dog Marley.
“Me, You & Marley Forever & Ever,” the couple’s shared caption read.
McCarthy and Kuropas have been together since 2018.
McCarthy was incredibly efficient in his third year as Michigan’s signal caller. He had an excellent 72.3% completion rate this past season. He threw for 2,991 yards with 22 touchdowns against just 4 interceptions.
It appears McCarthy’s efficiency extends beyond the gridiron. Not only did he secure two rings in two weeks, but he also made a decision on his NFL future within the same span. The man has been taking care of business to start off 2024.
