Daniels left Saturday’s game late in the first half after being sacked.
Daniels played 11 games in 2018 as a freshman, throwing 14 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He was expected to make great strides during his sophomore campaign, but those hopes are now wrecked.
Kedon Slovis replaced Daniels after the injury Saturday, but only attempted eight passes, one of them an interception. He’s likely to remain the starter going forward.
