Urban Meyer jokes about picking up milk after wife calls during press conference (Video)

You can coach your team to the biggest game of your season, but don’t think that gets you out of having to bring milk home afterwards.

At least, that’s what Ohio State coach Urban Meyer told reporters he had to do after his press conference was interrupted by a phone call from his wife Shelley.

Ah, coaches. They’re just like us.

It’s worth noting that some viewed this as a veiled shot at Meyer’s Michigan counterpart Jim Harbaugh, who is an endorser for Fairlife Milk and once – jokingly, we think – called Meyer’s supposed milk preferences “candy-ass.” That’s probably a stretch, although given how fierce these rivalries get and how they can ensnare families as well, it says something that we’re not willing to rule it out completely.
