Aaron Rodgers’ girlfriend Olivia Munn had a rough week full of engagement rumors, but at least she handled them well.

Things started on Tuesday when a report went viral saying that Munn and Rodgers were engaged. The two have been dating since early 2014, so an engagement wouldn’t be too surprising, but the timing would be questionable given that Green Bay is still in the middle of their season.

After the story circulated, Munn decided to address the rumors on Instagram with a humorous post. She shared a screenshot of a text conversation she had with her mother:

Answering yes or no to personal questions can be tricky because if you say "No" it means whenever you say "No comment" that kind of becomes your default "Yes". But since I'm doing press for the next few days, I didn't want to have to answer the same question over and over. So instead, I'm going to let my text conversation with my Asian mom help me out.✌️#Colberto

“Colberto” apparently was a misspelling of Stephen Colbert. Munn decided to have further fun with it by getting the actual TV host to text Munn’s mother. Colbert even used the “Colberto” name and played on the engagement joke.

Stephen Colbert, I mean Stephen Colberto, texted my mom during the taping of tonight's Late Show and now she's all confused again. Smh.

The engagement rumor concerning her and Aaron Rodgers may have been a nuisance, but Munn proved she still can make everything fun. Well played, Olivia.
