AJ Green unlikely to play against Browns on Sunday
AJ Green has missed the Cincinnati Bengals’ last two games as he battles a foot injury, and it sounds like the star wide receiver will miss his third straight on Sunday.
Despite Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis expressing optimism earlier in the week that Green will return to practice at some point ahead of Week 12, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports that all signs point to Green sitting out against the Cleveland Browns.
A.J. Gren declines to talk. Doesn’t look like he’ll play Sunday. He playfully says he’ll talk in one week … or two weeks … or three weeks … or four weeks … or next season. #Bengals

Green tested out his injured foot prior to last Sunday’s game, but he did not suit up. While Lewis continues to provide positive updates, initial reports indicated that Green will be held out until December. He visited with a foot specialist after experiencing swelling, and it seems like the injury is at least somewhat serious for Green to be sidelined this long.
