Report: Andrew Luck trying to determine source of renewed pain, could miss year
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is reportedly seeking further medical help to determine the source of his renewed pain and soreness, and could miss the entire season if no answer is evident.
FOX Sports’s Jay Glazer reported Sunday that Luck has been experiencing more pain after beginning to throw again, and is seeking out doctors to try to figure out what that pain is stemming from, via Charean Williams of ProFootballTalk.
Luck had surgery on his shoulder in January, and the Colts know that he won’t be back on the field this season if they cannot determine the reason he’s still experiencing pain this long afterward.
Luck had a setback a week and a half ago, and he hasn’t thrown since. It sounds like he may be shelved a while longer, and at this point, the smart money may be on him missing the entire year.
