Andy Richter shares funny Mike Ditka cigar story
Andy Richter, who is best known for being Conan O’Brien’s sidekick, once worked with Chicago Bears legend Mike Ditka for a Peak antifreeze back in the late 1980s. That was when Ditka was still coaching in Chicago and at the height of sunglass-wearing, cigar-smoking career. The latter piece of information is most important here.

If that story didn’t sound so Ditka, we probably wouldn’t believe it. Even with all the hooting and hollering Da Bears legend does now, he’s mild compared to the way he used to be. Tossing his cigar wherever the hell he wants sounds about right.
