Antonio Brown ruled out against Broncos
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has been ruled out for Sunday’s divisional round playoff game against the Denver Broncos, the team announced on Friday morning.
Brown has been in the concussion protocol all week after taking a brutal high hit from Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict last weekend, and he was obviously unable to get clearance.
Bengals cornerback Pacman Jones has been extremely vocal in the wake of his team’s loss to Pittsburgh, accusing Brown of faking an injury to get a crucial 15-yard penalty that essentially set up the game-winning field goal. If you have seen a video of the hit, you know it is unlikely that Brown was acting.
Jones, who said Brown deserves a Grammy Award (yes, a Grammy Award) for his acting job, has since claimed he will apologize to the All-Pro receiver if he is unable to play against the Broncos. We’re all waiting, Pacman.
