Did Antonio Cromartie rip Jets after signing with Cardinals?
Antonio Cromartie signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday. The 30-year-old was released by the New York Jets earlier this offseason, which was expected because he was carrying a total salary cap charge of nearly $15 million in the final year of his contract.
After the Jets cut Cromartie, he would not rule out a possible return under a different deal. Despite the fact that New York is still looking for a No. 1 corner, that never came to fruition. On Thursday, the following tweet briefly appeared on Cromartie’s Twitter account. It was captured by our friends at Black Sports Online.
Cromartie’s wife Terricka later claimed she was on her husband’s account accidentally and meant to send the tweet from hers.
Sorry please ignore my Tweets my being @iluvTERRICKA my account switched to my husbands account by accident

Anyways like I was saying its funny how you can be so loyal to someone and they can be so disloyal to you

But I'm happy that i learned threw my husband that when someone slaps you on the face it's possible to turn the other cheek.

That would seem hard to believe in most instances, but Terricka has a history of ranting about football-related matters on her Twitter account. Regardless of who sent the tweet, the timing made it interesting since it came right around the time the Cardinals announced their deal with Cromartie. It would hardly be a surprise if Cromartie felt betrayed by the Jets.
