New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick was sporting a black eye when he met with the media on Tuesday, and no one was surprised that he had no interest in explaining how it happened. But is he now trolling the media?
On Wednesday, Belichick strolled through the locker room holding a pair of boxing gloves in his hand. This took place while reporters were allowed to be present.

Some coaches have been known to make players wear boxing gloves during kick return and other drills, so it’s possible that’s why Belichick was holding them. We like to think he was having fun with the media during what has turned into a hectic week in Foxboro.
For those who are wondering, Chandler Jones was not made available to the media. A report surfaced on Tuesday indicating the defensive end was rushed to the hospital over the weekend after overdosing on drugs.
Belichick didn’t speak to reporters, either. He just trolled them like the expert troll that he is.
