Brandon Browner on Delfategate: ‘Inflate this’
The New England Patriots have likely been given strict instruction from head coach Bill Belichick to ignore all things related to the Deflategate scandal, but that didn’t stop cornerback Brandon Browner from weighing in on Wednesday.
Browner, who used to play for the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks and was once suspended for performance-enhancing drug use, seems unhappy with people who are trying to discredit the fact that LeGarrette Blount ran all over the Indianapolis Colts.
For my 2cents Blount scored 3 rushing touchdowns. He could've carried a beach ball. Also doesn't hurt we only gave up 7 points #inflatethis

Blount rushed for 148 yards on 30 carries and scored three touchdowns. Some have argued that a ball that was less inflated would be easier to hang onto, especially in rainy conditions.
While we don’t know if Blount would have fumbled with a properly-inflated ball, we do know that the air pressure inside the ball had nothing to do with him running right through several Colts defenders and racking up yards after contact.
Outside of Foxboro, we have had opinions ranging from everything from the air pressure in the balls having no impact on the outcome of the game to people calling for Bill Belichick to be suspended for the Super Bowl and fired. I’m sure all of Browner’s teammates feel the same way he does.
