ESPN apparently wanted to make things as awkward as possible at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday night, so they asked Brett Favre to hand Aaron Rodgers his award for Best NFL Player live on the red carpet. The Ole Gunslinger did not disappoint.
But was he intoxicated?
For whatever reason, someone decided it would be cute to “hide” Rodgers’ award under the desk near Favre. When Favre went to retrieve it, he damn near wiped out.

“What is going on right now?” Rodgers asked. “Brett, you came all the way out here for this, huh?”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Aaron.

Of course, Twitter immediately began speculating that Favre had enjoyed a few cocktails before making his ESPYs appearance. We have no idea if he did, but we do know that the segment was even more awkward than the time Favre and Rodgers presented an NFL award together two years ago.
