Rookie tight end Noah Fant exited Monday night’s Denver Broncos preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers after suffering a foot injury while being tackled.
Three 49ers defenders converged on Fant for a tackle. The rookie’s right leg appeared to sustain most of the damage.

Fant limped off the field and received medical attention. He was termed questionable to return with a foot injury.
The Broncos selected Fant No. 20 overall in this year’s draft out of Iowa. He is competing with Jeff Heuerman and Jake Butt for playing time.
