Broncos RB was accident victim in high-speed police chase, has minor injuries
An NFL player was one of several accident victims that resulted from a high-speed police chase over the weekend, but fortunately he suffered only minor injuries.
The Broncos announced on Monday that running back De’Angelo Henderson was driving on Saturday when a car collided with his jeep. He was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure but treated for only minor injuries.

Considering his Jeep was overturned in the crash, it is remarkable that Henderson only suffered some bumps and bruises.

Officers attempted to pull a vehicle over that had been reported stolen at around 8:20 p.m Saturday night, and the driver fled from officers before eventually crashing. The two people driving the stolen vehicle were among the four injured, according to CBS Denver. The driver, a 37-year-old female named Rainbow Sunset Espinoza, is facing 11 charges that include vehicular assault, eluding, motor vehicle theft, DUI-Drugs, and several traffic offenses.
Henderson, a sixth-round pick last year out of Coastal Carolina, had seven carries last season for a total of 13 yards.
