Bruce Miller is accused of pushing his fiancee and destroying her cell phone during a spat outside an eatery last week that led to his arrest for domestic battery.
It was revealed on Monday that Miller was arrested last Thursday following a “spousal abuse” incident with his girlfriend, Leanne Massey (see more about her here). No details were available concerning the arrest, but the San Francisco 49ers fullback’s name appeared in the log for Santa Clara police.
On Thursday, Santa Clara police sent out a release concerning the incident. According to the release, police responded to a call regarding a disturbance outside a Posh Bagel shop at 10:33 p.m. Miller and his fiancee were in a verbal argument, and Miller is accused of pushing Massey to the ground and destroying her cell phone.

Miller was arrested but is free on $10,000 bail. It is up to the county DA to decide whether to pursue charges against the fullback.
Miller’s arrest continues a string of off-field issues for the 49ers, who have had 11 players arrested since 2012.
