Cleveland Browns defensive back Calvin Pryor was surprisingly missing from practice on Thursday, and the team later released him.
Browns head coach Hue Jackson confirmed that the team is “moving on” from Pryor, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the 25-year-old got into a fight with a teammate before practice.
Sources: #Browns are expected to release S Calvin Pryor just a few days before the opener after a fight with a teammate before practice.

Rapoport’s colleague Mike Garafolo is reporting that the teammate Pryor got into a fight with was Ricardo Louis. Jackson said the Browns have no plans to release Louis.
Pryor was selected by the New York Jets with the 18th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. The safety is known for being outspoken and once unloaded on Rex Ryan, so you have to wonder if the Browns had other issues with him beyond the fight.
