Cardinals’ Chase Edmonds suffers hamstring injury, deepens RB crisis
The Arizona Cardinals have a serious backfield crisis after running back Chase Edmonds went down with a hamstring injury.
Edmonds limped off the field against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday and was ruled questionable to return with a hamstring injury.
Edmonds was later rueld out for the game.
The Cardinals were already without David Johnson on Sunday, and he’s also expected to miss one more game. Edmonds’ departure left Zach Zenner, signed during the week, as the only active running back. If Edmonds misses time, they’ll have serious issues at the position.
Edmonds had done very little for the Cardinals on Sunday. He was held to eight yards on seven carries and was a non-factor as a receiver after some big performances recently.
