Carson Wentz’s wife reportedly taken to locker room after concussion testing
Carson Wentz’s head injury was serious enough that the quarterback’s wife reportedly was taken to the locker room during Sunday’s NFC Wild Card Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Wentz suffered a head injury late in the first quarter of the Eagles’ game against Seattle after being hit in the back of the head by Jadeveon Clowney on a third down play. Not only was Wentz hit in the head by Clowney, but his head also hit the turf.
According to what ESPN’s Chris Mortensen said, Sal Paolantonio reported that Wentz’s wife Maddie was taken to the locker room area.

It’s a medical decision. No official word yet.— Chris Mortensen (@mortreport) January 5, 2020
Wentz initially went into the medical tent on the sidelines for testing and then was taken into the locker room for further testing. He was replaced by Josh McCown and listed as questionable to return.
