Whitehurst, a Clemson alum, attended Monday night’s BCS National Championship Game with none other than singer-songwriter Jewel Kilcher by his side. It’s possible that the two are just acquaintances, but a friend of Jewel’s shared a photo on Facebook that featured the couple and said they are “dating.”

Are we sure Whitehurst is just a veteran journeyman? The 33-year-old Colts backup has just 10 touchdown passes in his career, and he once lost an arm-wrestling match to this dude. How does he end up dating Jewel? Your guess is as good as ours.
