Report: Chip Kelly, Trent Baalke already clashing in San Francisco
Is Chip Kelly already clashing with San Francisco 49ers management?
NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger told Philadelphia’s 97.5 The Fanatic on Thursday that there are already issues between the new 49ers coach and general manager Trent Baalke.
“I already hear there’s problems in the building between Chip & Baalke” – @BaldyNFL

It should be noted that Baldinger is a former Eagle speaking to a Philadelphia sports station, so consider the source carefully here. Folks associated with the Eagles really don’t like Kelly much.
There’s no word what they’re clashing over, but the conflict wouldn’t be a huge surprise. How quickly it came about, however, would be. Sure, they’re both strong personalities, but they haven’t even gotten to the NFL Draft together yet.
Kelly clashed with the front office in his previous job, having been all too happy to marginalize them and throw them under the bus. Baalke was complicit in pushing a successful former coach out the door simply because they didn’t get along. It would be perfectly within their character to clash, but if it’s really happening this early, that’s a really bad sign for San Francisco.
