Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory returned to the team on Thursday after a multi-day stay in the hospital, though it is unclear when he will practice again.
Ivory said in a statement that he was admitted to the hospital with an “emergency medical condition” that developed while he was staying with the team at a hotel. He did not get into any detail about the illness.

While we don’t know the details of what went on or is going on, it’s a good sign that Ivory has returned to the team and says he is ready to focus on football. After the comments we heard him make about himself last season, we know the former New York Jet has high expectations for himself in Jacksonville. Here’s hoping he gets back on the field in short order.
