Dez Bryant responds to report that he missed as many as 40 team meetings

Dez Bryant hit back at an ESPN report that said he’d missed as many as 40 team meetings over his NFL career.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Bryant has a habit of either showing up late or not at all to team meetings and medical treatments. One source estimates it has happened between 20 and 40 times over the course of Bryant’s seven-year career, including 7-8 times this season alone.
“If you were hoping for him to come to a scheduled meeting, he may or may not be there,” one anonymous Cowboy said. “But if you need a first down on third-and-14, throw it to Dez.”
One source even added that the team was too lenient with Bryant and enabled this behavior.
Bryant was quick to respond to those reports on Sunday.
Dez Bryant strongly disagrees with @AdamSchefter's report. "I missed 40 meetings!?!?! I owned up to the only one I missed."

Dez Bryant: "Clearly I'm Americas most hated. None of my teammates would say anything like that. Everything between us is nothing but love."

Bryant admitted to missing treatments and meetings during the week, but apologized and regretted it. However, this is the second report of this nature we’ve seen this week. Obviously it’s in Bryant’s interest to issue a public denial, but it seems that there’s some agreement in these reports.
