Dez Bryant is expected to officially sign his contract with the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, which doesn’t leave him much time to prepare for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. In all likelihood, fans will have to wait another week to see the star wide receiver with his new team.
As Ian Rapoport of NFL Media notes, Bryant has not been practicing with the Saints this week and has yet to learn the playbook.

Considering he has not played in an NFL game in nearly a year, you would have to assume Bryant will be held out on Sunday. Even if he’s in tremendous shape, expecting a player to participate and know where he’s supposed to be on the field after spending just a few days with a team seems like a tall task.
