If there was any doubt, Antonio Brown intends to resume his NFL career as quickly as possible after being released by the Oakland Raiders.
Brown did not have to clear waivers and becomes an unrestricted free agent immediately. According to agent Drew Rosenhaus, he is already seeking out a new team for the wide receiver, who is looking forward to a “new beginning.”
Drew Rosenhaus: “Now that Antonio is a free agent, we are focused on the future and I will immediately work on signing him to a new team. Antonio is looking forward to a new beginning.”

Brown demanded and received his release on Saturday after his most recent round of fines from the Raiders.
It’s worth remembering in the midst of all this that Brown has six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and led the league with 15 touchdown catches last year. He’s really good. It’s just a matter of which team thinks they can control the drama enough to coax those kinds of numbers out of him. Someone will take on the challenge, probably fairly quickly.
