Antonio Brown’s memorable, yet brief Oakland Raider career is over.
The team officially announced Saturday that Brown has been granted the release he demanded after the team’s latest round of fines.

Brown has had difficulties all offseason ever since the Raiders acquired him. It started with the botched cryotherapy that left him with foot issues. Then there was the new helmet, which Brown threatened to retire over. That led to the missed practices, which the Raiders fined him for, and things piled up from there.
This is what Brown asked for after the Raiders fined him for his altercation with GM Mike Mayock. In the end, he won’t make any money from Oakland or play any games for them, and it remains to be seen what his next step is.
