Eagles fans in shambles after team chokes against Falcons
Philadelphia Eagles fans could not hide their pain Monday after their team let a Week 2 win slip away at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
The Eagles lost a 22-21 heartbreaker against the Atlanta Falcons in their home debut.
With 1:56 left in the game, the Eagles held an 18-15 lead and looked to be in complete control. Philadelphia had 1st-and-10 on Atlanta’s 17-yard line. A touchdown would have sealed the win, but all they needed was one more first down to run out the clock.
However, Saquon Barkley dropped the 3rd-down pass from Jalen Hurts, which would have sealed the win.
Eagles fans gonna be thinking about this Saquon drop for the rest of the week

The Eagles settled for a field goal, allowing the Falcons to steal a win with a go-ahead TD.
Once the result was final, the faces of the Eagles fans seen on the ESPN broadcast spoke volumes. There didn’t seem to be any smiles at the Linc from anyone wearing green.

Both Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley had their moments throughout Monday’s game. The pair combined for 180 rushing yards and 1 touchdown on 35 carries. But it wasn’t enough to prevent Philly’s late-game meltdown.
It wasn’t a great day to be an Eagles fan. But at least most of them were able to leave unscathed unlike the Eagles supporter who was accidentally injured by Jason Kelce.
