There was a brief interruption during Sunday’s AFC Championship Game in Kansas City when a fan ran onto the field.
The Chiefs had just scored to take a 21-17 lead on the New England Patriots, which had the fans all fired up. One decided to run onto the field at Arrowhead Stadium prior to a second down play for the Pats with just over seven minutes left in the game.
Reporters in attendance say the fan got taken down by a gang of security members.

The fan running onto the field during the game reminds us of the hilarious call from Kevin Harlan a few years ago of another streaker on the field.
