Gary Kubiak expects Trevor Siemian to be ready for Sunday
Denver Broncos coach Gary Kubiak believes quarterback Trevor Siemian’s injury isn’t serious.
Kubiak characterized his quarterback as day-to-day when speaking to Denver Sports 760 on Monday.
“Our plans moving forward are for Trevor to be there Sunday and be ready to go, but he’s day to day,” Kubiak said, via Andrew Mason of the team’s official website.
Kubiak could have put Siemian back in if it had been absolutely necessary, but the team elected to play it safe and were pleased with what they saw from Paxton Lynch.
“Pax went in there and handled himself well,” Kubiak said. “I thought the players really helped him.”
Siemian’s diagnosis doesn’t sound terribly serious, and there appears to be plenty of optimism that he’ll be fine to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5.
