Genie Bouchard and Mason Rudolph have broken up, and the tennis player has scrubbed the quarterback from her social media profile.
TMZ Sports reported on Thursday that Bouchard and Rudolph had broken up. There was no reason reported for the breakup, but the two were said to have had an amicable split.
A check of Bouchard’s Instagram account shows Rudolph does not appear anywhere on it. Bouchard is likewise absent from Rudolph’s page.
We first learned of rumors about them dating in Oct. 2020. In Feb. 2021, Rudolph went Instagram official with Bouchard in a Valentine’s Day post. Rudolph has since deleted that post.
Bouchard, 28, was ranked as high as No. 5 in the world during her career. The tennis player burst onto the scene in 2014 when she reached the finals of Wimbledon and semis of the Australian Open and French Open. It’s been all downhill since then though, as she’s failed to advance past the third round of a major since 2015.
Rudolph, 26, was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018 and has played in 17 games for the team. He will be competing with Mitch Trubisky for the team’s starting quarterback job this season.
