Greg Olsen has harsh comments on ‘collective failure’ Panthers

Greg Olsen

Few teams in the NFL seem to have packed it in worse than the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers got dominated by the Indianapolis Colts in a 38-6 loss on Sunday for their seventh straight defeat. They’ve now gone 0-3 since Ron Rivera was fired and are 5-10 on the season.

After the game, veteran tight end Greg Olsen had some harsh comments about the state of the organization. He said the way things are going and the way the team is finishing the season is part of a “collective failure” and “organizational failure.”

Olsen seems to be confused about the direction of the organization. The team looks like they are getting ready to rebuild and change directions, which is why they got rid of Rivera, and why there are rumors Cam Newton is done with the team. They’ve tried Kyle Allen at quarterback and went with Will Grier on Sunday. Being in the middle of this transition must be alienating for the players, which seems to be the message Olsen is conveying.
