Jacoby Brissett reportedly tore a ligament in his right thumb during Thursday’s game against Houston, and will likely need surgery to repair it.

In fact, there is even some hope that Jimmy Garoppolo might be able to return for Week 4.
Patriots also believe QB Jimmy Garappolo has chance to be ready for Buffalo in week 4, per source, but still too early to say for sure.

We’re guessing the Patriots will find a way to avoid having to turn to this guy as their quarterback. They will have a ten day window to get it together, and they only have to survive one more week before they get Tom Brady back.
