Jaguars coach downplays question about adding Dez Bryant

Will the Jacksonville Jaguars look into adding Dez Bryant to their roster? It sounds unlikely but not impossible.

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone was asked about Bryant in light of the season-ending injury to receiver Marqise Lee, and he made it clear that, at least for the moment, it doesn’t appear to be on the table.

Doug Marrone asked about adding a WR, Dez Bryant specifically, says the team is “comfortable” with who they have on the roster now but doesn’t slam the door on adding a free agent or waiver pickup.

There’s definitely one Jaguars player who would really like to see Bryant in Jacksonville, and it would appear to be an ideal situation for the receiver. The Jaguars are contenders and would probably be a short-term fit. There is no indication from either side that it’s anywhere close to being on the table, though.
