Jameis Winston will play Sunday despite re-injuring shoulder
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston aggravated his lingering shoulder injury last week, but it won’t rule him out of Sunday’s game.
Coach Dirk Koetter told SiriusXM NFL Radio Saturday that Winston re-injured his shoulder on a sack in the second quarter against the Buffalo Bills, but the injury is not serious enough to keep him out of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
“He played very well, especially in the second half against Buffalo,” Koetter said, via JoeBucsFan. “We did have that one sack-fumble in the first half and he kind of re-injured it.”
Winston originally injured his shoulder in Week 6. He played quite well against the Bills, so it doesn’t seem that the injury is hindering him too much.
