Jarvis Landry has hilarious take on NFL labor negotiations
Some prominent NFL players remain very unimpressed by the new CBA proposal placed on the table by NFL owners.
The NFLPA executive committee opted against recommending the proposal by a 6-5 on Friday, and it will go to all 32 player union reps next. However, a few players are already weighting in on Twitter. If Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry’s take is any indication, he won’t be backing the proposal, and he thinks plenty of other players won’t either.
Look like y’all better start getting y’all XFL tv packages together!!

The NFL is said to be taking a hard-line stance in negotiations, with owners presenting the latest proposal as take it or leave it.
Hearing NFL players are being told that there’s not much negotiation here. That this is the deal the owners are presenting and if they don’t take it, it’s strike/lockout next year. Billionaires are in a better position than millionaires. Do the players fold?

For all the public optimism about a possible agreement, there are definitely still hurdles. It may prove to be a vocal minority, but some players definitely aren’t impressed with the proposal, and the split decision on the executive committee indicates a lot of division. Landry, for one, doesn’t seem optimistic about this passing, but we won’t know until there’s a vote.
