Jerry Jones gets crushed for big AT&T Stadium problem
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is taking some heat for an AT&T Stadium design choice that seemingly negatively impacted his team on Sunday.
The Cowboys’ home stadium in Arlington, Tx. was a hugely expensive proposition, but the layout of the structure means the sun can be a major issue for teams heading toward the west end zone. Most stadiums are built with the end zones facing north and south, but AT&T Stadium is different.
That once again became an issue on Sunday. During the second quarter, the sun was a major factor in preventing wide receiver CeeDee Lamb from catching what would have been a three-yard touchdown, as he simply was not able to see.

It was quickly pointed out that there are curtains installed at the stadium to minimize the issue, but the Cowboys do not use them during games.
Incredible that they use curtains to block the sun at AT&T Stadium for every event except Cowboys afternoon games pic.twitter.com/1b7FklaBgK

The most amazing part is that this issue is not new. It seemingly caused an issue in a playoff game in 2022 as well, but if Jones was not willing to make a change then, it probably will not happen now.
If it is any consolation for the Cowboys, the sun was never going to change the outcome, as the Cowboys trailed Philadelphia 28-6 after three quarters.
