John Harbaugh was officially introduced as the new head coach of the New York Giants on Tuesday, and he credited Andy Reid with helping him look on the bright side after the Baltimore Ravens had fired him.
Harbaugh offered up the four words of advice Reid had given him as he looked for a new job following his Ravens departure. The new Giants coach seemed to take them to heart, too.
“His four words to me were ‘change can be good,'” Harbaugh said.
“Change can be good.”

That’s what #Chiefs HC Andy Reid, who was once let go by the #Eagles, told John Harbaugh after he was let go by the Ravens.

Reid, of course, was ousted by the Philadelphia Eagles and went on to build a dynasty with the Chiefs. Harbaugh even joked that he would take that deal for himself if he could mimic Reid’s accomplishments.
As for Harbaugh, he was in fine form and seemed more than ready to go during his introductory press conference. He gives the Giants instant credibility and a record of accomplishments more impressive than any coach they have had since Tom Coughlin. He doesn’t seem bitter about his Ravens departure, but is clearly excited to get to work in New York.
