Monday night’s game between the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles got so out of hand that Jon Gruden and Mike Tirico decided to fire up a blender in the broadcast booth.
Sure, there was a story behind it. Chip Kelly is known for making his players personalized smoothies in order to encourage proper eating habits, so I guess you could say Gruden and Tirico weren’t being completely random by making smoothies. Still, things got really, really weird.

And even weirder when you put the “my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard” spin on the whole thing.
I truly hope John Madden is right and Gruden never goes back to coaching football. We need him in the broadcast booth as much as possible.
