Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has seen his name come up in trade rumors this week after his former team was dealt a major blow in its backfield, but he insists he is not thinking anything of it.
McCoy was asked on Thursday about rumors linking him to the Philadelphia Eagles, and he said his only commitment at the moment is to his current team.
McCoy: Heard about the trade rumors. I’m worried about the task at hand. Will have to see what happens. #Bills

Earlier in the day, Bills head coach Sean McDermott stopped short of denying that teams have called about trading for McCoy.
Sean McDermott begins his news conference Wednesday with unprompted statement on LeSean McCoy: “We’re just looking forward to the Houston Texans. We get calls all the time. Incoming calls happen all the time. Brandon and I talk a lot. I won’t get into any more detail than that."

The Eagles are said to have some interest in bringing back McCoy now that Jay Ajayi is out for the season with a torn ACL. There has also been talk about Philly pursuing another star running back, but a trade for any impact player has obstacles. With McCoy set to count $9 million against the salary cap in 2019, it is not out of the question that Buffalo would be open to moving him.
