Le’Veon Bell trolls Panthers during blowout
Le’Veon Bell had a little fun at the expense of the Carolina Panthers during Thursday night’s blowout.
The Pittsburgh Steelers had a relatively easy time beating the Panthers in their early-week game. Late in the contest with Pittsburgh firmly in control, Bell tweeted something that appeared to be a comment about the score.
I think it’s safe to say, it’s time to pass the sticks…

The “time to pass the sticks” comment is a phrase often used when someone is losing badly in a video game. They are told to “pass the sticks,” which is a way of saying give up the video game controls.
Some interpreted the tweet as meaning Bell will be reporting to the Steelers soon and it’s time for running back James Conner to hand over the starting gig. Bell needs to report by Tuesday otherwise he will be ineligible to play the rest of the season. There is some speculation he will not report at all.
Either way, Bell had to like what he saw from his teammates on Thursday.
