Malik Jackson burns Jurrell Casey over Blake Bortles ‘choke’ comments
Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars are heading to the AFC Championship Game, and the quarterback’s teammates want all of the players who have criticized Bortles to enjoy their steaming hot plate of crow.
Bortles wasn’t fantastic in Sunday’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He completed only 14 of 26 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown, but he did not turn the ball over and it was enough to earn his first playoff victory. After the game, several Jags players rallied around Bortles. Malik Jackson had the strongest remarks, ripping Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jurrell Casey for recently calling Bortles a choker.

The Titans, of course, were demolished by the New England Patriots on Saturday night. Bortles and the Jags shocked the Steelers by putting up 45 points at Heinz Field. Considering Casey isn’t the only Tennessee player who has thrown shade at Bortles, you can understand why Jackson and others have no problem rubbing it in the faces of their division rivals.
