Could Marshawn Lynch be ready to play in the NFL again this season? It’s a possibility.
The Seattle Seahawks brought Lynch out of retirement last year after several of their running backs got hurt. The veteran running back played in one regular season and two postseason games for the team. And he said during an interview with ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt on Monday night that his agent is in talks with Seattle about playing again in 2020.
“Just as far as right now, what I do know is that my agent has been in talks with Seattle, so we’ll see what happens. If it works out and I get back up there, it is what it is. If not, I’m living good, so I’m not tripping too much,” Lynch told Van Pelt.

Lynch is 34 but still managed to score four touchdowns in three games, so he does have something to offer. The Seahawks are expecting Chris Carson to be ready for the start of the season, but Rashaad Penny is likely to begin on the physically unable to perform list. The team also has DeeJay Dallas, C.J. Prosise, and Travis Homer on the roster.
If they don’t bring Lynch to camp to begin, having him on standby like last season might be a good idea. We know Pete Carroll is open to it.
