Matt Bryant had the saddest reaction after missing crucial extra point
Matt Bryant missed a critical extra point late in the Atlanta Falcons’ 1-point loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and felt awful about it.
The Falcons fell behind 27-10 in the third quarter but rallied back. They scored a touchdown with 1:53 remaining to make it 34-33, but Bryant pulled the extra point and the team lost by that score.
Bryant, 44, had made both his field goals and all three extra points until then. That was his first missed extra point of the season and fourth in 11 seasons.
Bryant’s reaction was heartbreaking.

This has been a rough week for Atlanta sports fans. The Braves allowed 10 runs in the first inning of an elimination game and lost Game 5 to the Cardinals. Georgia lost in double overtime to South Carolina. And now the Falcons lost on a missed extra point. What a brutal week.
