Former Michigan defensive tackle Maurice Hurst is a first-round talent who’s still waiting for his name to be called after two days of the NFL Draft.
Hurst’s slide continued Friday as he wasn’t drafted in either the second or third round, but he’s not letting that get him down, at least not yet.
Been through adversity my whole life, just waiting for the right place to find me! This is my process

Hurst’s slide has nothing to do with character concerns or anything like that — a heart condition turned up at the NFL Combine. Even though Hurst ended up being cleared for Michigan’s Pro Day, reports indicated that some teams took him off their draft board entirely. There is certainly risk involved, but you’d think someone will bet on the talent on day three.
