Mike Pouncey is set to visit with the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, according to a report.
Pouncey requested his release from the Miami Dolphins this week and received it. Now ESPN’s Adam Schefter says he is headed to visit with the Chargers.
Pouncey played in all 16 games last season, a year after playing in just five games due to a hip injury. The center signed a massive five-year extension in 2015 and was set to make nearly $8 million this season.
Pouncey graded out poorly at center last season by Pro Football Focus, but he still could be an upgrade for the Chargers.
