Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen got into a brief verbal altercation with San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh following the Week 4 game between the two teams, and a new video shows more of what was said.

The Jaguars beat the 49ers 26-21 on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. As players and coaches on both sides were shaking hands after the game, Coen and Saleh got heated with one another and had to be separated.

As many speculated, Coen was angry with Saleh over some comments the 49ers coach made during the week leading up to Sunday’s game. Coen angrily told Saleh to “keep my name out of your mouth.”

Saleh said on Thursday that the Jaguars have employed an advanced sign-stealing system under Coen. Saleh made it clear that he was not accusing Coen of doing anything illegal and said Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay’s coaching tree has mastered the art.

Either way, Coen did not appreciate the remarks. The Jaguars coach was asked about his alleged legal sign-stealing operation during the week, and he did not take the bait. The comments clearly made an impression, however.

The Jaguars had 325 total yards of offense in their win over San Francisco, so they did not exactly light up the stat sheet. San Francisco turned the ball over four times, while Saleh’s defense was unable to secure a takeaway. That wound up being the difference in the game.
