NFL reportedly cutting preseason to two weeks
As expected, the NFL preseason is set to be shorter in 2020.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, the NFL will eliminate the first and last week of preseason for all 32 teams, meaning each team will play only a pair of preseason games.

This has been rumored to be coming for quite a while. The aim, according to reports, is to allow the league and its teams more time to sort out health and safety protocols ahead of the 2020 season.
There was really no need for a four-game preseason, and this news will likely be welcomed by most. It also means we’ve seen the last of the four-game preseason schedule entirely: with the regular season expanding to 17 games in 2021, the preseason will be permanently shortened by a week.
