NFL Network Decorates Boston Statues with Bill Belichick Hoodies
Chances are you have probably heard something about the new series that will begin Thursday night on the NFL Network called A Football Life. If you live in the New England area, you are definitely aware of the premier. The first installment of A Football Life is hour one of a two-part documentary on Bill Belichick.
According to some of the local Boston media who have already seen the documentary, it is must-see TV. Belichick is the first coach in the history of the NFL to be mic’d up for an entire season (2009). Rumor has it the feature will show us an entirely different Belichick from the jerk so many have grown to hate. Who knows, it might even be more overwhelming than watching the Patriots coach make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
As if New Englanders needed any further promotional tactics to make them tune into the documentary Thursday night, the NFL Network decided to decorate various Boston-area statues in Belichick hoodies. You might remember the statues being decorated in a similar fashion during the Bruins Stanley Cup run. If the two-part documentary is anything like people are claiming it will be, the end result for the NFL Network should be similar to the outcome the Bruins enjoyed — minus the massive trophy.
